The future of work is digital-first – but how do you make the very best of that?

Webcast As the coronavirus crisis has gripped the world for the past few months, it’s become increasingly obvious that remote working can work extremely well with a good many advantages. Collaboration can, in fact, be boosted, with a greater number of remote workers able to work together digitally on projects that may have been, in the past, executed only in an office environment.

But as well as learning that a new level of collaboration can be a benefit, it’s also become necessary to consider that, in order to maximise productivity, the way data is accessed and shared needs to be carefully considered.

In our next webcast – which will be broadcast in German – we’ll be focusing on some of the big questions about what awaits us in the latter half of 2020, and beyond. We’ll also focus on how data security and compliance plays its part in those considerations.

On August 6, 2020 at 1600 CEST, we'll be asking: what will the future of work look like, will remote working continue to develop in its scope and scale, and what kind of long-term changes will we face with decentralised, digitally connected business teams?

The show will focus on research presented by cloud content management and file sharing experts Box. Michael Mors, General Manager for Central Europe at Box, will be on-hand to explore this research on the changing world of work, using the findings to frame the potentially huge opportunities that can be gained from refining remote working practice.

Michael will focus on the immediate impact of the COVID-19 virus on the business landscape and the actual ways companies work in practice, as well as the long-term benefits that can be expected from changing to a more digitally collaborative style of work.

Led by the research, Michael’s discussion will turn to ways in which organisations can create meaningful strategies and design technology platforms to help prepare for – and take full advantage of – the transition we’re all facing, focusing on ways to nurture and enrich existing collaborative practice across teams and whole organisations.

The web seminar will be supplemented by practical case studies of companies who are already employing and enacting these changes right now, and will delve into the individual opportunities that have developed for them in their different industries and specialties, not to mention the considerations they’ve faced in security and compliance while achieving other wins.
