Trying to keep smartphones off your network?

Forget it. They're here.

Research from Freeform Dynamics shows that, whether you allow users to connect their iPhones, iPads, Blackberrys and Android phones to the network or not, they'll do it anyway.

So it's not a question of whether you let them access their data, it's a question of how you find out who's connected, how you keep the data secure, how you stop it from getting mixed up with personal data - and how you make sure it's deleted afterwards.

We asked Ahmed Datoo from Zenprise, a company that provides tools for companies to manage the problem, and Andrew Buss from Freeform Dynamics why you should care, and what you need to do now to avoid disaster later.
