Join The Register at ISC 16

Europe's premier HPC conference, June 19-23

Promo Registration is open for ISC 16, Europe’s most important high performance computing conference.

The Register will be there in Frankfurt, June 19-23 - along with some 3,000 delegates - our fifth year on the trot. For those who can’t be there we will cover the keynotes, some of the conference sessions, and arrange plenty of interviews with researchers, end-users and vendors.

We are looking forward to this year’s keynotes, which include Andrew Ng, chief scientist at Baidu, China’s internet behemoth. His talk, entitled "How HPC is supercharging machine learning", focuses on the latest trends in artificial intelligence and will explore how HPC researchers drive significant progress in artificial intelligence.

Also, the organisers have scheduled a seriously interesting conference agenda which, as always, focuses on "HPC technological development and its application in scientific fields, as well as its adoption in commercial environments".

This year there is also a strong emphasis on emerging technologies, such as robotics and machine learning.

We will also walk a kilometre or three pounding the exhibition show floor, home to 160 vendors, universities and research organisations. And swag – not that we care for such fripperies.

Last but not least, the educationally minded among you can round out the conference by signing up for tutorials and workshops.

You can check out ISC 2016’s agenda in full here.

And here is a handy link for registration. The early birds deadline is May 11, so time to get cracking!
