Continuous Lifecycle London: More speakers, more sessions

Dave Farley, Chris Jackson join the programme

Reg Events The schedule for Continuous Lifecycle London is filling up, with 24 speakers now announced and more to be revealed shortly for our DevOps, Continuous Delivery and Agile conference.

The latest tranche include two of our program committee members, Pearson's Chris Jackson and Dave Farley.

Dave can rightly claim to be a thought-leader in the field of Continuous Delivery, DevOps and Software Development. Many of you will know him co-author of the Jolt-award winning book “Continuous Delivery”, and one of the authors of the Reactive Manifesto.

Dave’s session will cover Optimising Continuous Delivery, where he’ll help you tackle the problem of slowing pipelines once the initial benefits of moving to continuous delivery have been achieved. If you’re suffering from CD growing pains, this talk will help ease them.

Chris is director of cloud product engineering at publishing giant Pearson, and a self-confessed thought leader. He will be giving us an insight into how exactly you roll out micro-services and containers at a company whose legacy stretches back 170 years.

Or as Chris puts it “the story to date of an in-flight engineering project to modernise the digital estate of a global enterprise organisation and how the scale of the operation is leading us to challenge some of the established beliefs around DevOps”.

We’ll be announcing more speakers and sessions over the coming weeks, and you can expect just shy of 40 sessions in total over the two-day conference - and that’s not counting the workshop day.
