Former USAF chief lands HP Security tour in Oz

Take half a day out to cut your incident recovery time

Promo HP will be deploying its security big guns over Australia next month, in the shape of its upcoming Security Innovation Tour featuring former US Air Force head of Cyber Security Earl Matthews.

The half day events in Sydney and Melbourne will give you an overview of the current threat landscape, and help you harden your systems and data against attackers.

Major General Matthews will be firing off actionable insights to help you target your security resources to counter both external and internal threats.

Looking inside your organisation, HP will show you how to streamline your security systems, and exploit custom hardware, and analytics to detect intrusions and identify insider threats.

Over the last four years, the average cost of cybercrime per company has increased 96 per cent to $12.7m. while the time to resolve incidents has jumped 221 per cent.

So it’s no surprise that HP has adopted a three part approach to security: predict and disrupt; reduce the duration of incidents; and share security intelligence. Because your business doesn’t have all the time in the world to recover from an incident.

The roadshow will be hitting Sydney’s SMC Conference Centre from 8.30am to 12.30pm on September 9. On September 10 it will touch down from 8.30am to 12.30pm, at the Stamford Plaza Hotel in Melbourne.
