Police investigate strange case of doughnut-licking pop singer Ariana Grande

Chanteuse apologises after tonguing rings in shop

Police are investigating pop chanteuse Ariana Grande for attempted doughnut/donut-licking in a US store.

Grande has since apologised after a video of her was released where the singer tentatively tongues a number of donuts and then jumps up and down laughing.

An employee then removes a tray full of the treats, and Grande is caught on camera saying:

"What the f*** is that? I hate Americans. I hate America."

In a follow-up apology video she said:

"Seeing a video of yourself behaving poorly, that you have no idea was taken, is such a rude awakening, that you don't know what to do - I was so disgusted with myself."

An inexplicable apology-Tweet followed:

"Need to clean up this mouth of mine & set a better example for my babes. i apologize and i love you. always learning."

She added in a statement:

What I said in a private moment with my friend Ryann, who was buying the donuts, was taken out of context and I am sorry for not using more discretion with my choice of words.

In an un-related stream of thought the songstress then went on to rant about obesity.

“We need to do more to educate ourselves and our children about the dangers of overeating and the poison that we put in our bodies."

Lake Elsinore Police Department are investigating the attempted public licking. ®
