Legion of Superheroes fly in from Redmond for SQLBits bash

Is it a bird? Is it a…Oh, it’s a data expert

Promo A whole flock of Microsoft techies will be heading to the Excel Centre next month for this year’s SQLBits conference.

MS partner director of engineering Rohan Kumar will be giving the keynote at this year’s conference, which runs from March 4th to 7th.

His wingmen will include distinguished engineer Nigel Ellis, principal architect Conor “King of the Query Optimiser” Cunningham and Mark Souza, GM for the customer advisory team, as well as a host of other SQL heavy hitters.

The show is now in its eighth year, and as usual, it’s going to be all SQL and Azure, all day, from the normal one hour sessions, right up to the two hour plus double sessions. There’s going to be over 100 speakers in all.

Except for Friday night of course, when it’s the traditional party. This year the theme is…Superheroes - though dressing up is optional.
