Customers RAGE after Webfusion goes TITSUP
Hosting firm's Total Inability To Support Usual Performance enrages Twittersphere
Venerable hosting firm Webfusion UK is experiencing a crippling outage which has hobbled web services across the country.
At 15 years old, Webfusion is one of the UK's premier server hosts.
Its website collapsed earlier today, although it is now back up, and customers said they were unable to get through to technical support on the telephone.
Some customers wondered if the outage was caused by a DDoS attack, whilst others speculated it was due to heavy Black Friday traffic.
The problems were first reported four hours ago. Webfusion finally released a statement on Twitter a few minutes before this story was published.
We are currently experiencing some network issues. Our engineers are working to resolve this ASAP.

As the outage unfolded, furious customers took to Twitter to vent spleen.
@WebfusionUK Our email is down, your website is down, and you are not answering the phone. Yet again absolutely terrible support and service

@WebfusionUK Your entire website is down and so are all of our dedi servers. Is this what you call acceptable service? #shambles #useless

Nice, webfusion say repeated outage today is DDOS - not at all black friday traffic at break times…..

Both websites and email systems were affected by the outage. ®
