Developers: Hands-on course to find out what Azure can do for you

Promo Microsoft UK's month of free Azure training is well under way with an all day Web Dev Camp in Reading on 17 October. Bring your laptops and take part in live labs showing you how to use the latest cloud technologies and tools to quickly develop and deploy secure and scalable web apps.

Martin Beeby and Martin Kearn, Microsoft technical evangelists, will show you how to develop "beautiful, interactive and fast web sites using Microsoft's web tools and Azure cloud platform".

Here is a snapshot of the topics that will be demoed in the sessions:

• Introduction to ASP.NET and Visual Studio 2013 Web Tooling
• Building Web Applications using the latest ASP.NET technologies
• Building web front ends for both desktop and mobile using the latest web standards
• API Services for both web and devices
