Apple's Siri 'hurls insults' at Google Glass

Why are you so petty about tech specs, Siri?

Apple's oft-ridiculed virtual assistant Siri is saying apparently saying nasty things about Google's Glass tech specs.

Twitter user @seambrage noted the response depicted below when he invoked Siri and said “Okay Glass”, the phrase used to ready the tech specs for action.

@seambrage's mates started to use the phrase with Siri on their own phones and received the following responses.

Other responses Siri makes to “Okay Glass” include "I'm not Glass. And I'm just fine with that." and "Glass? I think you've got the wrong assistant."

Just why Apple is bringing the nark to Glass is uncertain. CEO Tim Cook has in the past opined that no one who doesn't have to wear glasses will wear Google's voluntarily, and that the wrist is a more acceptable place for a wearable device.

If that's truly the case and Glass is no threat to Apple, the best question to ask Siri is surely "why are you being so petty?" ®
