Busts 4 Justice battles Bulgarian airbag tax

M&S DD+ bra surcharge outrage

Enraged bearers of DD+ chesticles have launched a Facebook campaign aimed at shaming Marks & Spencer into dropping the ample Bulgarian airbag tax it imposes on well-endowed brassiere customers.

In case you're not up to speed on the M&S bra scandal, the site explains:

For too long now, M&S have got away with this criminally unfair tit-tax, which puts a £2 surcharge on bras bigger than a DD cup. When challenged, M&S argued that bigger bras have bigger overheads and so must retail at a bigger price. Note here that other high-street lingerie retailers don't feel this need to distinguish between these 'costs' and operate a one price for all tariff.

It adds: "Busty ladies, and anyone else with a vested interest in busty ladies, in fact anyone with a vested interest in simple justice, join forces to end this blatant discrimination. We need your, er, support."

Splendid. ®

Fans of the Twat-O-Tron should check out the comments on the Facebook campaign. One "Matt" writes:

People who are overweight make clothing extremely expensive. When I buy a cashmere jumper is it fair that I (someone who stays in good shape) have to pay for all the fat lazy people with many X before the L to have so called price equality

'Larger' people get off very lightly, they don’t have pay excess baggage on flights, and humans have to pay for them when we fly, let’s be honest being stuck next to one is horrible, having to smell them, watch them grazing, and loosing access to your armrest... and half your seat.
