Perot Systems buys into IrelandWrites Limerick developer a big chequePublished Monday 12th May 2008 15:08 GMT Perot Systems Corporation is buying an Irish application developer, Original Solutions Limited. The Limerick-based company offers general business consultancy as well as specialised application work, keeping legacy systems working and "near-shore" services. The firm has 90 staff and turned over €9m last year. Perot Systems already has an Irish subsidiary in the capital Dublin. Financial details of the deal were not revealed. By comparison Perot Systems made revenues of $2.6bn in 2007. One-time presidential candidate and company founder Ross Perot remains chairman emeritus of the board, Ross Perot Jr. is chairman of the board.
