Man recreates ZX81... in Lego

You can pick up the real thing cheaply enough on eBay, but that hasn't stopped retro-computing fan and Lego nut from knocking up a version out of the plastic bricks.
The result is larger than the real thing, but sports all the ports - including the parallel port round the back that was responsible for the infamous 'Ram Pack Wobble' - and a green circuit board within.
And for the true Sinclair buff there's even a wee model of Sir Clive to go with it.
Creator 'Hairy Dalek' has posted his work on Lego creator site Cuusoo. Go and give him a vote if you'd like to see his ZX81 kit in the shops. If he gets sufficient backing, he's also promising to produce an entire series of retro 'eight-brick' microcomputers… ®
