T-Mobile dates BlackBerry Bold launch7th August 2008 15:36 GMT T-Mobile will launch RIM’s first tri-band HSDPA 3G handset into the UK next month. Also dubbed the Bold, the network provider will release this on its Business 1-Plan.
T-Mobile will launch the BlackBerry Bold in the UK next month T-Mobile claims this plan offers a “flexible allowance of voice, data, texts and international calls”. RIM unveiled the Bold earlier this year, but very little has been said about the phone since. The BlackBerry Bold supports 850/1900/2100MHz GSM/GPRS/Edge networks and has integrated GPS, alongside 802.11 a/b/g Wi-Fi. Emails can be sent and received during phone calls. A slot for SD/SDHC memory cards of up to 16GB is included, although the phone has 1GB of on-board storage. A two-megapixel camera with a 5x digital zoom is also featured.
